World War II

Barbara Newman's father was in the United States Army and stationed on the island of Oahu on December 7th, 1941.  Although just a child at the time, Barbara vividly recalls seeing Japanese planes fly overhead on their way to Pearl Harbor.  She tells the tale of that fateful morning and what it was like in the days and weeks after the attack.
