James McIlroy

As a member of the United States Marine Corps, James McIlroy served his country during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.  James repaired and maintained EA-6B Prowlers.  The aircrafts primary mission was to hunt down and destroy SAM sights.  During the war in Iraq, the mission changed.  The Prowlers now were tasked with controlling the electromagnetic spectrum will depriving the enemy of it.  This became a critical element to combating the use of IED's by the enemy.If you have any biographical data, information or pictures regarding the service of this veteran, please contact us using the "Add Info" button below.
