John W. Jones, Jr.

Vietnam War

As a member of the United States Marine Corps, John W. Jones, Jr. served his country during the Vietnam War.  He served with the 1rst Battalion, 9th Marines and would rise to the rank of Master Gunnery Sergeant.  John's bunk mate was killed during the war and he says that he thinks about his time in combat everyday.  John says, you go to combat, and "you never come back the same."If you have any biographical data, information or pictures regarding the service of this veteran, please contact us using the "Add Info" button below.
